What is a Study Visa?
Simply put, a study visa is an official travel document which is usually stamped or glued onto the passport of the bearer and allows the student to legally enter a foreign country. A study visa can be of multiple types. But the main reason is for those looking to travel to a foreign country to pursue higher education. The study visa types vary with each country and each visa may either vary per course level or based on the study period of the applicant. A study visa in any case is an official document which is granted to the applicant who gets selected at a university abroad. The applicant has to appear for an interview or some visa interviews are not required in some cases. Once the final scrutiny is over the applicants are offered their study visas.
